OUR STORY: I grew up on 100 acres just 3 miles from Hocking Hills State Park. 🌲 As a teenager, I hated it. To 16 year old me, it felt like I lived in the middle of nowhere with NOTHING to do. I couldn’t wait to leave - queue Ohio State. 🙌🏻😉
But now? As an adult raising and running my own kids all. the. places. - I see it completely differently. I love that my parents still live on those same 100 acres. I LOVE the quiet, the land, the trees, the slowing down of life. Funny how that works. 😉
My husband and I had been talking about building cabins on my family’s land for the last 15 years. Then Covid hit. That was the push we needed to finally make it happen. It was one of those “life’s too short” conversations.
A couple of years ago, we started the process. We carved out a little corner of that land. That same land my siblings and I played on, complained about, and eventually fell in love with. On that land we built Saving Hollow. 🤍Two twin luxury, modern cabins up on hill, tucked in the trees just 3 miles from Hocking Hills State Park. We have put our blood, sweat and tears into Saving Hollow in the hopes that all of our guests fall in love with it and the Hocking Hills as much as we have.
We opened in late September, and now that the dust has settled (literally), we would truly love to welcome you to Saving Hollow. Whether it’s a quiet reset, a kid-free weekend, or just some time to breathe, our cabins were designed exactly for that.
