Let’s address the elephant in the room… interest rates. 🐘

Yes, rates are higher than we all wish they were. And if you want to wait for them to come down, I genuinely don’t care — buying a home should happen when it makes sense for YOU.

But here’s what I don’t want you to forget: no one has a Magic 8 Ball telling us exactly when rates will drop.

And in the meantime, life keeps happening. People get married. People get divorced. Jobs change. Families grow. People relocate. People pass away. Sometimes you simply outgrow your current home.

Right now, fewer buyers in the market can mean less competition, more negotiating power, and more opportunity to ask for things like seller concessions.

If rates eventually come down, refinancing may be an option. But you can’t go back and buy the house you loved after someone else bought it.

Don’t let a headline make the decision for you. Run the numbers, understand your options, and decide whether buying makes sense for your life right now.
