If losing my mom to Alzheimer’s taught me anything, it’s to cherish the moments we have while we have them. 💜

This weekend, I had the privilege of participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s alongside The Crace Group at E-Merge Real Estate, with one of my daughters and granddaughters by my side.

This cause will always be deeply personal to me. Alzheimer’s takes so much from the people we love, and from the families who love them. But one thing it can never take away is the love and memories we carry with us.

And if there's one thing I want to remind everyone, it's this: Dance whenever you get the chance. Even if there's no music. Even if people are watching. Don't wait for a special occasion to enjoy the people standing right beside you.

And that's exactly what we did. We walked, we danced, we laughed, and we honored those who are no longer here to do those things with us.

I know my mom would have loved that. 💜

Here's to making memories while we can, holding our people a little closer, and continuing to fight for a world without Alzheimer's.

If you know me, you know I am NOT the person counting down the days until it gets chilly outside. 😂 Give me sunshine and warm weather all year long.

BUT… I’m trying to be better about embracing it, so I figured I’d kick off fall with a little fun, a lot of local, and something yummy. 🍂☕️🍯

I made a trip to BeeAttitudes Honey Farm & Coffee Roastery in Westerville and somehow walked out with:

☕️ A Honey Bee Latte
🐝 A bag of freshly roasted coffee
🍯 Raw honey straight from their farm
🤤 AND honey brittle made by local makers

Honestly, if this is what embracing fall looks like, maybe I can get on board. 😂

One of my favorite things about Central Ohio is finding places like this—small businesses doing something really special and giving us another reason to get out, explore and support local.

And if you want to make the trip yourself, their Mornings at the Farm coffee truck will be open again next week, October 6–8 from 6–10 AM!
