📍Kentucky is trending in a more positive direction on housing affordability compared to much of the country. While many states have seen affordability decline since 2019, Kentucky has improved by 2.1%, landing on the more favorable side of the map.

What does that mean for buyers? It suggests home prices, wages, and cost of living have stayed more balanced here than in many other states.

That said, the shift is modest. Buyers may still feel pressure from interest rates and rising costs, but Kentucky hasn’t experienced the same level of strain seen in states like California, Florida, or Arizona.

Bottom line: Kentucky isn’t immune to affordability challenges, but it’s holding up better than most.
