The other night, strong winds came through and took out all of our corn stalks. We had to wait until dusk to get out there and salvage what we could. Along with my kids, my parents jumped in and helped pull what we could find. We shucked and hauled it up to their house and the following day dad and I cleaned and bagged it up to store. We ended up saving enough corn to freeze around 50-55 bags which averaged about 6 ears per bag. That was far more than we were even expecting to be able to save.

Sometimes in life, things will knock you down. But no matter how strong the force is, always show it how you can rise up and make the best of it. In the end, you may wind up with a bigger blessing than you ever thought possible when you began.

This closing was especially bittersweet for me. I will miss my dear friend, but I know she is beginning a new journey as she heads West to be home with her family, who she has missed dearly. I’m honored for the opportunity to market and sell her home. I will miss her smile and laugh and beautiful personality and I wish her all the best and safe travels back to her home! 🤍🥹

It has been such an honor for me to help my sweet friend sell her home. As we close today, a new chapter of her life begins as she heads back home to Nevada. It has been such a blessing to know her and I will miss her smile and hearing her laugh but I know she is going to be making wonderful new memories! Congratulations Sally and we love you and we are praying for safe travels as you head home! 🤍
