Behind every home is a lifetime of memories — and every move holds the possibility of what comes next.

In the fall, Molly helped a 91-year-old U.S. veteran sell the Denver home he had lived in for nearly 50 years. With little local family support, she stepped in to help him thoughtfully prepare the home for listing, even spending time together sorting through decades of mementos and war photographs.

Meet Lou – a proud U.S. veteran who called his Denver condo home for nearly 50 years. In 2025, it was time for his next chapter.

We first met through a referral to discuss how we could prepare his home for listing and continued to breakfast at McDonald’s where the entire staff knew him by name. With his daughter out of state and little local family support, I soon found myself sitting in his living room as we sorted through decades of memories, mementos and war photographs.

I had only known him for a week or two, yet there we were, reliving a lifetime. Moments like that stay with you. Homes hold stories, families, and legacies—and the responsibility of guiding someone through that transition is one I never take lightly. Whether helping someone buy their first home, move into a dream home, or begin a new chapter later in life, my goal is always the same: to guide each client with care, respect, and heart.

Lou’s home is now sold. Inside its walls, updates may come…but the memories of a life well-lived will always remain.

Sometimes, old friends become clients.
