Here to guide you every step of the way. My journey began long before making my mark as a 3x MMA Champion. Hospitality is my fundamental value - I aim to provide an MVP level of service, akin to "Be Our Guest," ensuring my patrons experience nothing short of excellence. My ideology revolves around enjoying the process, even amidst adverse situations, and maintaining an upbeat demeanor. Post-Purchase Costs Buyers Should Expect
When stepping into homeownership—especially as a first-time buyer—there’s so much more to consider than just the down payment, closing costs, and moving trucks. In that pivotal first year, many families discover that repairs, furnishings, and essential appliances can add up quickly. Newly built homes, while fresh and modern, often bring higher first-year costs: on average, $26.9K compared to $18.7K for existing homes. It’s common to spend around $4.3K on appliances and household equipment for new construction, and $3.7K for existing homes. Furnishing those new spaces can also take a bite, averaging $8.3K for new builds and $3.9K for existing properties—especially if you’re filling rooms for the first time. Alterations and repairs are often the largest expense, averaging $14.3K for new homes and $11.1K for existing ones. My role is to help you budget wisely and approach these early costs with clarity, so your path to homeownership is a confident one—rooted in trust, clear communication, and a little bit of hospitality along the way.

New Homes Offer Better Value Nationwide
Lately, I’ve seen new construction homes offering real value across our neighborhoods. With many homeowners staying put due to current mortgage rates, the supply of existing homes remains tight—so builders have stepped in, not just with more inventory, but with price reductions and creative incentives you don’t often find in resales. If you’re comparing options, it’s worth noting that in areas where builders are active, competition has brought more choices and improved affordability for buyers. Many builders are even offering perks like mortgage rate buydowns to help make a new home possible. As always, I’m focused on guiding families and first-timers through these decisions with trust and clarity. Remember, these affordability gains may not last if the pace of new permits continues to slow, so keeping an eye on both new and resale homes is key to finding the best fit for your next chapter.

How Real Estate Agents Can Maintain Focus During Challenges
Navigating the world of real estate isn’t always easy, especially when challenges arise. I’ve found that keeping a clear sense of purpose—whether it’s setting achievable goals, breaking big tasks into smaller steps, or staying on top of new industry trends—makes a real difference for both myself and the families I serve. Prioritizing ongoing learning helps me guide first-time buyers with clarity, while making space for balance and mindfulness ensures I can show up with hospitality and accountability in every interaction. These habits don’t just help me stay focused—they help create the trust and confidence my clients deserve.

Can Denver Housing Regain Momentum in 2027?
Lately, we've seen Denver’s housing market open up a bit, with more inventory on the market and a shift away from the fierce competition of the past few years. For many families and first-time buyers I've helped across Centennial, Greenwood Village, and beyond, this means a welcome change: more choices and room to negotiate, as sellers now compete on price, home condition, and concessions instead of simply banking on low supply. Monthly mortgage costs have improved a lot compared to last year, softening the blow of high home prices and giving buyers a bit more breathing room. Looking ahead, whether Denver’s market truly regains momentum by 2027 may come down to mortgage rates, job growth, and if the added inventory eventually sparks stronger sales. As always, I’m here to guide you with real communication and clarity—every step of the way.

Gen Z buyers lead every generation on affordability trade-offs
I’ve always believed that real homeownership begins with understanding your priorities—especially for younger buyers taking their first big step. Recent insights show Gen Z buyers are leading the way when it comes to making affordability trade-offs. This generation is more willing than any before to adjust their spending habits and even consider smaller homes to achieve their dreams of property ownership. Canadians appear most open to downsizing, while British buyers are a bit more hesitant to compromise. If there's one thing I’ve learned guiding families and first-time buyers through Centennial, Greenwood Village, and beyond, it’s that flexibility—paired with clear, honest guidance—can make all the difference on this journey.
