❤️ URGENT: Sweet Homeless Cat Needs a Loving Home ❤️

Hi everyone, it’s Paula. I need your help.

Since moving temporarily into my new neighborhood, I’ve noticed a gentle grey cat hanging around—clearly homeless, but incredibly sweet. Yesterday when I got home from work, I saw he had a large gash on the left side of his face. It was bad. My new neighbor Maria and I rushed him to the only place open at the time—the SPCA.

Unfortunately, we were told that he may or may not receive treatment, may or may not be adoptable, and could very likely be put down.

This absolutely broke my heart.

This boy—who I’m calling Mr. Grey—is so loving, calm, and friendly. He gets along beautifully with other animals. He is not feral. He simply has been abandoned like so many animals in the downtown area, and this is not acceptable. People take animals home and then neglect or abandon them, leaving them to suffer.

Right now, Mr. Grey deserves a chance. A home. Safety. Warmth. Love.
I cannot take on another cat, but for the right person, this boy will be endlessly grateful and appreciative.

We left him at the SPCA so he can hopefully receive medical care for his injury. We were given his case number so we can follow up—but we need a plan. And we need a community.

And finally… I’m calling for a community action plan for the other cats roaming around downtown who clearly need support. These animals are not feral—they are abandoned pets.

If anyone wants to help brainstorm or volunteer with me to come up with a solution, please let me know. Our neighborhood deserves better—and so do these animals.
