I've been selling real estate since 1996. Looking at homes is what I do. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I can't get this picture out of my head. If I did a BPO onTrump's bathroom, I'd give it low marks.

1. The shower curtain. I thought maybe it was being used as a room divider, but no. That's a shower surround on the left. Increase the picture and look at it. Why in the world would you make an attempt to have a lavish bathroom and throw up a shower curtain? You need doors - clear ones to open up the room just a tad. Or better yet...nothing. Tile all of the walls, (the white walls scream "discount paint, throw it on" and don't fit the rest of the room). Install 21st century shower heads and make it a wet room. Of course you couldn't store papers there.

2. No taste was used to decorate this bathroom. Why would someone even entertain the idea of a chandelier in a bathroom? And hang three of them? (There's probably another to flank the basin, but we can't see that in the pic. I'm assuming.) A cleaning nightmare. Think about toothpaste splashes and tell me I'm wrong. Brass fixtures? High maintenance. Stainless steel would be a sleeker look, easier to maintain. You'd change out the vanity, too. This room screams "In the 1970's I told them I wanted something exquisite at a discount." Lighter colored flooring would brighten the room. There's too much brown and earth toned...everything.

3. Wealthy people with an element of class...or generally anyone with a sense of style, would put this first on their list of fixes, and probably lower their offer by the cost of the update. This room has no warmth, design interest or feeling of retreat.

4. It goes without saying that a damp environment is no place for top secret documents. It doesn't matter that they may not use this room...stuff can happen. Plumbing leaks, for one. And let's not forget the possbility of airborn bacteria due to flushing the toilet.

5. Like everything else that man does, he's faking it. This is the combover of bathrooms.
