What to do with all that stuff around the house that is not longer used is the big question. Well, people are sooooo creative. This idea is a cute one. Keeps unwanted items out of land fills.

Using a old ceiling fan, wooden table leg, twig ball, gate hook, and some marbles this guy flew in.

We received ours yesterday and my husband was thrilled! Thank you to all who made these signs possible, we are so grateful.

(For everyone who is making assumptions instead of asking questions to try and understand. We aren't talking about the 4th of July. We know there will be fireworks and expect it on the 4th. We have the responsibility to prepare ourselves for that day or go elsewhere. It is the days leading up to and days that follow with the unexpected fireworks. All we are asking for is a courteous heads up on all the other days except the 4th.)

Long Beach is an interesting city. As a resident I often find myself along the shoreline. I am drawn to the marinas and all the boats though I don't sail because I get sea sick. Love walking in the sand and water along the beaches or dining at Shoreline Village or Alamitos Bay Landing or poking about the canals in the Naples area. I also like walking through our Nature Center or the many parks. One of my favorite walks is through the California Heights historic area or the area near Rancho Los Cerritos. During the month of May the jacaranda trees are in full bloom and driving the many streets lined with these trees are beautiful sights. Each area of Long Beach has different styles of homes. Going to these neighborhoods are like taking a long trip to some other place and still be within 3 to 7 miles of my home. If you have thought about buying a home consider the many opportunities in our area.
