Realtist Restore Day was a powerful reminder of what it means to serve our community.

This year, the Long Beach Realtist Association had the privilege of restoring the home of a deserving Long Beach family. One of the homeowners is an Army veteran, and the family has been navigating serious health challenges that made it difficult to keep up with home maintenance. It was an honor to step in, restore their property, and remind them that they are not alone.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors and community partners who made this day possible. We especially want to thank Grocery Outlet - LB 7th St. for their generous donation, which allowed the family to receive groceries in addition to the home improvements.

This video captures the heart of the day, including words from the homeowners themselves. Their gratitude is a powerful reminder of why we do this work.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, talent, and heart. Together, we didn’t just restore a home - we strengthened a community.

We are proud to be part of Natl Assoc of Real Estate Brokers Restore Day and look forward to continuing this tradition of service for Long Beach families in the years to come.

This Saturday, we’re doing more than restoring a home - we’re restoring hope.

The Long Beach Realtist Association is proud to join 114 NAREB boards across the country for Realtist Restore Day, a national day of service dedicated to strengthening our communities one home at a time.

This year, we’re serving a deserving Long Beach couple, both over the age of 60. The husband is a veteran courageously battling Stage 4 cancer and our volunteers will spend the morning helping restore the exterior of their home through painting, yard cleanup and beautification.

Can’t volunteer? You can still make a difference.

💛 Every donation - whether it’s $25, $50, $100, or more - helps purchase paint, supplies and materials for this project.

Building Black Wealth Community Impact Day

This is what community impact looks like.

Our Building Black Wealth Community Impact Day brought together education, resources, vendors, lenders, speakers, and real opportunities for the community.

From estate planning to homeownership education to grant funding opportunities, the goal was simple. Close the gap and create access.

Currently, Black homeownership in Long Beach sits at 41%, and we are committed to helping move that number forward.
