Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is a national, nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing and service coordination for persons with limited incomes. RHF provides housing and services to more than 22,500 older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities. The RHF logo symbolizes a program that has grown from the very modest beginnings of a $7,000 investment. With this

investment, combined with the efforts of three United Church of Christ (UCC) visionaries, RHF has grown to be one of the largest organizations devoted to building and preserving affordable housing for the most vulnerable members of society.

The residents at Southpointe Villa in Rialto, CA participated in El Sol Neighborhood's "Cultivating Wellness Program." This 10-week bilingual English/Spanish program offered informative sessions healthy eating, practical nutritious cooking workshops, fun and accessible movement and physical activity sessions, gardening and community garden tips, and leadership and community advocacy.

This program not only helped residents learn and share health and wellness information with one another, it also helped reinforce a sense of community and gave them a sense of accomplishment. Participants were recognized for their with a certificate of completion, gift cards and other prizes.

At Verde View Senior Apartments in Verde View, AZ, community is more than a place—it’s a feeling of belonging. Our community is located within walking distance of pharmacies, grocery stores, and specialty stores. In town there are several restaurants, a post office, and a casino. A Social Service Coordinator is available to help residents’ find services for their personal needs. Verde View offers 40 apartments which consist of both studio and one-bedroom layouts.
