This is true life as a Realtor!

Yes, the buyer often finds the houses they want to see online but sometimes getting in to see them isn’t quite so easy. 🤪

And about buyers finding the houses online… they are typically looking at houses and neighborhoods they told their agent they didn’t want, so their search is far wider than the one we’re doing based on our initial meeting. I had clients once who insisted they would only live in one, very small, city. They were adamant. What did they find and buy? A house in a different county, in a city 40 miles away from where they told me to search. We got them in the house they wanted and they are still there, loving it, years later.

Also, that listing online? There was an agent behind that who spent the time getting the sellers and the house ready to go on the market, maybe staging it, getting the photos done and spending the time to put the house on the MLS.

Most of our job is behind the scenes, putting in the hours we’ll never tell you about. 😊

Facebook memories - getting the Williams family into their Los Alamitos home 12 years ago was a great experience. They were relocating to the area, and a lot of fun to work with. We are still in touch today, too. Proof that time flies, is those two kids in the photo are now college grads!

In life there are people that come in and change your world. In my real estate career, one of those with the biggest impact is Judy Sharp. Judy was the deciding factor in why I joined my brokerage, KW Pacific Estates, in 2013.

Judy has been a broker, coach, mentor, and friend throughout my encore career, and I am only one of many agents who feel that way about her. I can truly point to her influence as the core of my success in real estate.

This week we celebrated her 80th birthday with a small luncheon of people she has impacted over the years. Who has impacted your career?
