o Bradenton from Munich, Germany so one of her two sons could pursue his passion for golf at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, owned by International Management Group (IMG). In 2002 she became a realtor, and over the years has gained considerable experience working with foreign buyers, and helping clients purchase investment properties. In early 2009, she became a Certified Distressed Property Expert in order to assist a growing number of sellers requiring assistance with decisions about short sale or foreclosure options. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German, Victoria boasts a worldly background that has contributed to her success. As a native of Colombia and a European Union Citizen, she spent most of her formative years in New York, Washington, DC and Greenwich, CT, lived abroad at various times in Spain and France, plus spent summers with relatives in Bogota, Rio de Janeiro and Barcelona. From 1995 to 1998, she resided with her former husband and their two sons in Munich, Germany. Prior to entering real estate, Victoria worked as a corporate communications executive and chief spokesperson for several advertising agencies in New York, including the agency that coined "A Diamond is Forever" for DeBeers; "Reach Out and Touch Someone" for AT&T, and "Be All You Can Be" for the U.S. A graduate of New York University with a BA degree in Journalism, she spent the early part of her career working as a business writer for various publications including The Los Angeles Times and Working Woman magazine. Victoria continues to bring her 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations to her real estate practice, which she expertly utilizes in designing strategic marketing campaigns for her clients. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, Bridge and the beach. She is also heavily involved in volunteer work for local causes such as The Women’s resource Center and The Pace Center for Girls.
