Bruce has been helping families find their place here since 1980. Today, he does it alongside Chase, combining two generations of local knowledge, experience and a genuine love for Longboat Key.

When we asked Bruce what fall looks like on Longboat Key, his answer was simple: “Tennis.” Chase quickly chimed in: “That’s every month, Bruce.” But after a few Florida autumns under his belt, Bruce knows there’s something special about this time of year, with more opportunities to stay active, spend time with good people and enjoy the lifestyle that makes Longboat Key home.

For Bruce and Chase, family has always been at the heart of what they do, both at home and at BMG. From growing up here, to building a business here, they both know firsthand that some of life's best memories happen around the people you love most. A beautiful house is one thing, but one built with family and a few strong opinions about dinner plans? That's a home.

Happy National Family Day from our family, to yours. brucemyer.com

Sunday is World Tourism Day and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by appreciating what it means to live where others come to vacation. There’s a reason people travel from around the world to spend time on Longboat Key to walk the beach, play a round of golf or take to the tennis courts. As Bruce puts it, “The best part of living where others vacation? Vacations end, but we get to call it home.”
