Before choosing a real estate professional to sell you a property or list your property, you should ask if there are “filing fees” being charged to you by the brokerage (not referring to filing fees that the title companies charge to file documentation at county court house). All brokerages have to maintain files as a TREC requirement, but at TRINA GRIFFITH & COMPANY, we do this at NO CHARGE to our clients or our agents. Some brokerages charge as much as $500 per transaction, so make sure you ask this question before listing or signing a buyer’s rep agreement.

In a highly inflated economy, where everyone seems to be charging more because they can, please know that we are NOT charging more, just because others are. We are fair minded, negotiable on commission and here to better serve our clients.
