If you are thinking of building or adding on you should consider having 3rd party inspectors involved from the begining/planing stages. new homes can have extremely low utility bills if done properly.

Good week to check your gutters- most of the leaves have dropped so you likley won't needed to do this again untill all the pollen drops come in the spring. when cleaning your gutters take time to look carefluuy at the corners- we find wet and damaged fascia boards at the corners often during inspections- the seam at the back of the gutter separates and is common problem area- clean and dry out gutter and then reseal joints and seams where needed. This can prevent costly repairs down the road
