Hi friends!
With August 17th quickly approaching I thought I’d take a second for a quick PSA for all my Current and Future clients!
As many of you may have seen from social media outlets or the news the National Association of Realtors (NAR) has made some required changes in our line of business.
As of the 17th- as a Realtor I CAN NOT show you a home unless you have signed a Buyers Representation Agreement with me!

You may ask- “What is a Buyers Representation Agreement?” Simply put- it’s an agreement that outlines what my expectations are as your agent & that you are going to use me as your agent in the home buying process. These agreements can be as short as the day of the showing, to weeks or months (which is how it is traditionally used). So, if I’m not your perfect fit as an agent, we can work out the details on the Buyers Representation Agreement to fit your needs.
This agreement isn’t something new, but now it is a requirement to even open the door to show you, as my client, the home.

These are uncharted waters all of us as agents are walking into! All I ask that we all show grace and be as transparent and understanding as possible, as everyone is still learning what this looks like. As for my clients- know that this change isn’t going to affect my caliber of business I provide for you, just may require a few more signatures! 😉
