Lucky doesn’t mean life is easy. 🍀

It means finding the good…
even when things are hard.

And this year?
I’ve never felt more challenged…
OR more grateful.

Turns out, you can hold both.

Because when everything gets stripped down, you start to see what actually matters.

And for me, that looks like:
🍀 the people who show up
🍀 the moments that feel normal
🍀 the strength I didn’t know I had
(and a whole lot of perspective I didn’t ask for) 😅

Would I have chosen this season? No.
But I can still find the good in it.

May we all be able find the good in each day…
even when it looks different than we expected. 🍀

People NEED people.
It sounds simple, but it’s everything.

Community has a way of carrying you through the hardest things in life…the kind you can’t always muscle through alone.

Every Saturday at 7:15 AM, my trainer Dee leads endurance training at the Auburn courthouse steps. And let me tell you…those steps are no joke. There is a lot of them and every time I see them they look daunting, especially when you’re recovering from nerve damage and your leg doesn’t always cooperate. There are moments I worry I might fall, but I keep showing up.

Because each week, my leg gets a little stronger…and maybe even more importantly….so does my mindset.

It’s more than a workout, it’s a reminder that stepping into hard things (literally and figuratively) is where growth happens. Surrounding yourself with people who lift you up and cheer you on makes all the difference.

Super grateful my friend Paula joined eric and I today, because showing up is easier (and way more fun) when you’ve got good people beside you.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard about the record breaking news that came out in the Real Estate space today! If you're in the industry, you might be scared, confused, and uncertain of the future. For many I've talked to today, they have felt a wave of concern across our field. Yet, here I am, brimming with enthusiasm and optimism!

The demand for top-tier, professional, approachable, and KNOWLEDGABLE real estate professionals is poised to skyrocket, pushing out those who joined our ranks merely chasing quick profits. Call me crazy, but I'm here to say, "I'm ready!"

So, what's the game plan to navigate this shift? Well, it echoes the very mantra I've always said, we need to serve and not sell.

We should focus on refining our business strategies, cultivating our personal brands, striving to be the knowledge leaders in our niche, and above all, being genuinely good humans, not only in business, but in life. It's about amplifying our industry knowledge, understanding contracts more deeply, and enhancing our overall value to our clients and our community.

Furthermore, it's high time we treat our careers with the seriousness they deserve: plan for retirement, save for the slow times, invest in real estate, and diversify our income sources.

Lifestyle marketing is the one thing that can make your home stand out among the rest, because most agents don't use this strategy!

Here's how you can apply lifestyle marketing to your listing.

First, I help my clients make a Top 10 List to give to anyone considering their home. These are the top 10 reasons you love your home. Think *beyond* the quartz countertops...tell future buyers something they may not realize about your home after just a 30 minute showing. Things like...

+ the bike path that's easy to get to

+ the deer you see every morning at dawn

+ the neighborhood parties every summer

+ the memories you made hanging out in the backyard with those you love

Then, find a creative way to feature these things in your photos and during showings.

Consider putting together a basket next to your garage door with bike helmets and extra water bottles in.

Set up a cozy nook next to a window with a chair and throw blanket, book, and coffee mug so buyers can picture themselves having their early morning coffee in that spot.

Set out a corn hole and a hammock next to a fire pit in the backyard.

These seemingly small touches make a BIG impact on potential buyers!
