I just got back from this year's RE/MAX Elite Retreat in Austin, TX! Lots of great experiences, including riding in a driverless car (Waymo), getting my first custom cowboy hat (thanks, RE/MAX!), and seeing the bats! The bats leave the bridge around dusk. I'm not sure exactly how many, but I estimate at least 250,000 based on similar number of bats leaving the bridge for around 30 minutes. Anyone else have a better guess-timate? (I'm also happy to post a cowboy hat photo if requested!)
