Standing in front of her dream—Eclectic Designs in downtown Los Altos back in the 1980's—my mom had a way of making everything feel warm, festive, and classy, and was always the instigator of connecting people and was always full of possibility. She's the one that encouraged me to buy my first home as a young single lady.
She left us many years ago, but her spirit still leaves an imprint in the little details, the way a room comes together, and the way I try to care for the people around me.
Her birthday was in May, and with Mother’s Day just recently, I’m especially aware of how much she shaped who I am. I miss her deeply, and I carry her with me every day.
