With all the chaos caused by the fires over the past few days, I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming support pouring in from the city of Los Angeles. As an Angeleno, it breaks my heart to see our beautiful city engulfed in flames and so many homes reduced to ashes.

Amid the devastation, I felt compelled to do something to support the brave souls risking their lives to protect our community. With the help of Austin and Michael, we gathered supplies and food for first responders and made our way to Altadena to deliver them. Witnessing the city’s unity firsthand was truly inspiring.

The streets were filled with people offering free food and clothing to those who lost everything, and every station we visited was overflowing with donations from compassionate citizens.

I had the honor of stopping by my brother Hugo Romero’s fire station to drop off some supplies. In these challenging times, it’s vital that we come together as a community. What’s been lost can and will be rebuilt, but the strength and kindness we’ve shown each other will always remain.

To my fellow Angelenos, I’m proud of you. And to those on the front lines, thank you for your courage and service.
