“It’s easier to lift a drink than a weight when stressed”

Such a true statement shared by a friend that has stuck with me over recent months. Managing several businesses is not easy & my go to support system was 1942 until August when I decided to go sober. Since then I’ve seen improvement in every part of my life - health, business, & relationships.

Replacing happy hour with healthy activities such as boxing, hiking, & reading has been a life saver and made the transition much easier. Replacing the beer belly with abs has also made it easier 😊

If you are looking to shake up your life in a positive way, I highly suggest giving sobriety a try. I haven’t been perfect when it comes to this, but damn, I’m going to strive for it.

Who says you need to go far for a relaxing vacation? 🏖️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yes, while I much rather be in Greece at the moment, below are mini vacations my family and I have either been taking for quick getaways.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Scottsdale: We rented a house in Scottsdale complete with a basketball court and pool - perfect location to quarantine for a week
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Yosemite: We stayed at and can't recommend it enough! While in Yosemite, we did lots of hikes and lots of relaxing. We also had lunch at a hotel overlooking El Capitan
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Maine: Most recently, we flew to Maine for a few days of fishing, wakeboarding, and kayaking. Also, you can't go to Maine and not have lobster for every meal 🦞

Earlier this year I launched Urban Growth Properties, a real estate investment fund to grow my business and to help others make sound investment decisions. The fund's objectives are as follows:

Do you want a high-end looking room or house, but don’t want to break the bank? After 8 years and more than 30 properties, I have this art down to a science! Consider these tips:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Set a budget: Determine a style you like and start shopping around. Compare prices between brands and track these against your budget.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add touches of high-end materials: These can be gold accents, solid wood, etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have ample lighting: Go neutral on your walls and furniture while adding colors, textures, pattern in accessories and accents instead.
