Hey stranger, it’s been awhile! 😏
How's life treating you? No complaints, all is well on my end. Everything is aligning as planned. I’m back in the west! Now, you know I couldn’t stay away for too long. Cali is my happy place, here is where I’m meant to be! Recently passed my CA real estate exam, that’ll be in motion soon (I’ll save my pitch until after the application process 😉). There are a few tasks that I need to tackle but the strive is steady.

The 2022 Point-in-Time Count of people experiencing homelessness on a single night is here—and it's the first complete one since the start of the pandemic.

The data shows the overall number of people experiencing homelessness has increased by 0.3 percent since 2020. Despite the overall increase, homelessness among several sub-populations decreased.

For instance, homelessness among Veterans has declined by 11.1 percent since 2020, and unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness decreased by 12 percent.

People experiencing unsheltered homelessness increased by 3.4 percent. To address this population, we are granting $322 million to tackle unsheltered and rural homelessness to connect vulnerable individuals and families to housing, health care, and supportive services.

The economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an increase in rental costs, & historic natural disasters have left too many people experiencing homelessness—and we must act. The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness has a plan to get the country back on track and bring people home.
