Great news! 🙌 A new rent cap has passed to help ease the strain on renters during the pandemic.

“San Diego leaders adopted a countywide temporary rent cap Tuesday, May 4, and new rules to make evictions more difficult for landlords during the pandemic...The new ordinance takes effect in early June and lasts until sometime in August.”

The county supervisors passed the ordinance 3-2. It is temporary and will expire sometime in August.

President Biden had just released the American Jobs Plan three weeks ago and now "Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) have introduced a “Green New Deal for Public Housing” that would provide $172 billion to retrofit existing housing."

The BolarScore is a holisitic report based on five factors; one of which is Payment History. 💸🗓

Payment History measures a tenant’s ability to pay their rent on time and is scored out of 40 possible points. Payments are only considered to be completed when the full amount owed for the month is complete. Failure to pay on time will affect a tenant's Bolar Score.
