EXPLORE BEVERLY GROVE

If you have been to The Grove, you have been through Beverly Grove. These are the neighborhoods that surround it. When The Grove was being built there was fear, about traffic, about development, about what would come. What came was young families, strollers, dogs, bicycles, restaurants and coffee shops. This part of Los Angeles is alive.

6227 W 5th Street sits right in it. 6 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, 4,794 sq ft across three levels, built 2018. Saltwater pool, spa and cabana behind tall hedges and a private gate. Offered at $4,779,000.

If you do not know Beverly Grove yet, come explore it. DM us for a private tour.

I never want to leave. 🌴

8309 Yucca Trail just got a $100,000 price improvement.

Three stories in the heart of Laurel Canyon. Spectacularly redone, super modern, totally dialed in. The kitchen looks straight out at the canyon, the decks catch the light as it moves east to west, and the views are the kind that make people jealous.

LOCK AND LEAVE 🔑

851 N San Vicente Blvd #304 · West Hollywood

One of the things we love about condo living at The Desmond: the lock and leave ability. Travel for a week, a month, half a year, it does not matter. Someone else is taking care of the landscaping. Nothing happens to the interior of your unit while you are away. You come back and everything is exactly where you left it, no worrying about the maintenance of the building itself.

It is the pied-à-terre life. West Hollywood, ready whenever you are.

Thinking about your own pied-à-terre in West Hollywood? DM us.

Is new construction worth it in Los Angeles?

Here is what nobody tells you. It all looks amazing in the beginning. Then come the builder glitches. This did not work, this cracked, this did not operate the way it should. It all comes out in the first two to four years.

Our listing at 6227 West 5th Street is 2018 construction. Eight years in. Every one of those things has been dealt with. The house is tight, the systems are incredible, and it shows beautifully.

All the beauty of new construction, already settled. And the landscaping is grown in, not little sprigs you have to imagine.

This is one that, frankly, you should come and see. Please set up your showing at the listing link. We would love to walk it with you.

A 20 year wave changed this neighborhood. The little 1920s homes, two sets of suits, little closets, little boxy cars, could not carry modern life. It was more expensive to expand them than to build new.

Today about 10 percent of Beverly Grove is newer construction. The critics said the new homes were soulless. And then you walk into one like our listing at 6227 West 5th Street.

There was fear about all of it. Fear about traffic, fear about development. And it became the greatest thing that ever happened to this section of the city. Strollers, dogs, bicycles, restaurants, coffee shops. So vibrant and so alive.

Our listing sits right in the middle of that story. Please set up your showing at the listing link. We would love to walk it with you.

Our listing 6227 in Beverly Grove has insane walkability.

Six bedrooms. Seven and a half baths. 4,794 square feet behind a hedge, with a saltwater pool and a movie theater behind a secret door.

Walk to LACMA. Walk to the train station. Walk to 3rd Street, the Grove, Trader Joe's. It is a luxury to park your car and live your life in Los Angeles.

If you are looking for a place where you do not have to drive to live a big life, this is your house.

Please set up your showing at the listing link. We would love to walk it with you.
