I’m not anti-Zillow 😭

But I am anti people making huge financial decisions based on an algorithm that’s never walked through the house.

Two homes can have the exact same square footage and completely different value depending on updates, layout, natural light, where it sits in the neighborhood, and, honestly, how it feels when you walk in.

Zillow can’t feel a house. I can.

That’s the difference between a ballpark and an actual strategy. And when we’re talking about one of the biggest financial decisions of your life, that difference matters.

Most LA property owners don’t know this exists, and it could cost them. 😳

If you have a vacant property sitting empty right now (a probate, an investment property, anything unoccupied) there is one step most people skip that leaves them completely unprotected.

‼️ Register your vacant property with the City of LA.

That one step is the difference between authorities being able to remove a squatter immediately and not being able to touch them at all. Once a squatter establishes residency in California by getting a state ID or license with your address, the sheriff cannot remove them without it.

And trust us, we learned that the hard way over two years.

We’re finally on the other side of this one and we had to share it because nobody should have to go through what we went through.

If you’re looking for somewhere local and actually good, Puerto Nuevo Coffee on West Slauson Ave needs to be on your list. Yonnine and I ate there recently, and it did not disappoint.

Amazing breakfast, tacos, and fresh juice... and they just extended their hours! So now you have even less of an excuse not to go. I usually get the carne asada tacos, but I switched it up and got the burger. No regrets. 🙅🏽‍♀️
