Antonio Israel Barraza was born in East Los Angeles, raised in El Monte, and has lived in Northeast Los Angeles, Hollywood, Playa Del Rey and West Los Angeles. He enjoyed the idea of mixing technology and science with art and aesthetics. Making pretty pictures became a passion for him. This eventually lead to a 17+ year career in computer animation with one of the top five visual effects studios i
n the world. Tony has numerous feature film, TV and commercial credits to his name, most notably, features like X-Men, Fast and the Furious, Night at the Museum and The Incredible Hulk, TV shows like True Blood, Arrow and Once Upon a Time, and commercials for Colgate, Robitussin, and Wells Fargo to name a few. The fast-paced world of visual effects is littered with complex and unique problems. After a brief time, Tony thrived and excelled at discovering innovative and creative solutions while simultaneously providing for the needs of very demanding clients. His desire to teach and learn, his patience and his hard work eventually paid off with a successful career. But something was missing. While in elementary school, Tony’s father, Israel, built the house his family lived in. On weekends. Many weekends. He wasn't very keen on it at the time, but eventually, he realized that that was his true calling: creating and finding homes. Not houses, or apartments, or condos. Homes. After spending most of his adult life on the Westside, he has returned home and now specializes in uniting new and growing families with needy and lonely homes in Northeast Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley. Tony presently lives in Eagle Rock and is an enthusiastic member of his community. He enjoys running, music, “cooking”, and showing clients the best that Southern California and its foothills have to offer.
