Born and raised in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, Taylor Johnson attended Hawken School and is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations. Upon her move to Los Angeles, Taylor landed a position at the Directors Guild of America, planning large-scale events including the Directors Guild Awards and many other high-prof
ile events attended by prominent filmmakers. Through her work with the DGA, Taylor demonstrated her ability to perform well under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and do whatever she can to reach the desired end result. After nearly four years at the DGA, and with the encouragement of family and friends, Taylor decided that it was time to pursue an interest she had held since a young age: real estate. Her interest in real estate was also sparked by her own experiences witnessing the lasting relationships that were made between agents and their clients. Building relationships has always been a cornerstone in Taylor’s career and she looks forward to creating new relationships with her clients. Taylor’s pursuit to stay ahead of local market trends and utilize cutting-edge marketing resources is exemplified with her recent alignment with Sotheby’s International Realty. Taylor brings acute organizational skills, knowledge of marketing, eye for design, and sheer determination to find the ideal home for her clients and the right buyers for her listings. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys cooking, volunteering with Best Friends Animal Society, bike rides in her neighborhood of Santa Monica, and hunting for the best tacos that Los Angeles has to offer.
