People are beginning to call 1100 Wilshire the Chase building due to its sign. It's probably a good idea to be aware of both names. Banks can last a long time, but this building may easily outlast this bank's tenancy.

1100 Wilshire is undergoing several challenges at the moment. The LA Loft blog has received word that there is one or lawsuits or pending litigation involving the building or homeowners association. The building looks slightly more worn and slightly less new now that chase bank has taken over some of the parking and part of the lobby. And very tall high rise maybe going up right across the street on the Southside , potentially blocking much of the light much of the sunshine to the swimming rooftop deck.
