Dang is this is what it’s like to not work on a Monday?
Hahaha!
What an amazing day, I mean double rainbows, beautiful magnetic sunset, little sprinkles of rain, spent the day enjoying Fiesta Hermosa Labor Day Weekend 2026 🌴✨ with my little family, my mother in laws birthday celebration was literally magic, and ocean waves that felt like a hug.
Reminds me to ask for more from god, I woke up this morning in a “I am gonna work, cause I work on holidays” mentality — I fought it so hard “ maybe I’ll let the family go and I’ll catch up on work” but why? who’s it for? Literally no one — the truth is that it doesn’t matter, the truth is you don’t win a prize for working holidays, you don’t make more money or more of anything that’s actually valuable, you just miss out of living and missing out on memories and that is a negative you can’t always get back and on your death bed, you wish you never missed out on.
Today reminded me to ask for more, that god isn’t on a budget with my life, he wants to show off, show you what can happen if you ask, when you believe you can have more and you deserve more, show you how a sunset with a double rainbow can look like, the rain on your face on a perfect sunset, your kids randomly telling you that they love you, seeing your son and husband actually play in the ocean waves, my niece and my daughter holding hands while walking. Just core whole some memories you only get when you take a moment to enjoy a day.
Life is really good. I get lost in the business of it all, but when you have days like this you learn to live again.
