Michael B. Jordan’s former Hollywood Hills home has hit the market for $14 million after an extensive redesign that transformed the nearly 5,000-square-foot property into a luxury retreat with features including a screening room, mirrored sauna and professional pizza oven.

“It’s sort of like a piece of jewelry,” co-listing agent Silke Fernald told Homes.com News in an interview. “If you fall in love with something, you’re like, I want to have this. I don’t care like what it costs. And this house is like that.”

The Baby Grand made its debut at 1315 Orange Avenue in Coronado, California, where a 1957 roadside motel once stood. CH Projects called on Brooklyn’s Post Company again to lead the transformation, and together they turned the property into 31 rooms of maximalist design, set on a flat spit of land just a two-mile bridge away from downtown San Diego.

Every room follows the same striking formula: an iridescent clamshell bed fanning up from the pillows nearly to the ceiling, framed by palm murals, high-gloss ceilings, oxblood trim and parquet floors. The bathroom claims nearly half the room itself, where a clawfoot tub sits on gold feet against hunter green tile.

Even the parking lot didn’t escape the transformation. What was once asphalt is now 6,000 square feet of planted grounds, filled with mature palms and gas-lit torches surrounding a sand-bottomed lagoon pool. A two-story rock face towers over it all, waterfall running behind Night Hawk, the open-air Greek restaurant tucked just beyond.

This Polish-born architect and furniture designer became one of the defining figures of Brazilian modernism.

Zalszupin designed a way of living, homes and furniture where every material, curve, and detail spoke the same language. His São Paulo residence, standing for nearly 60 years, is proof that good design isn‘t decoration; it’s philosophy.
