The Basic Needs Fair will span over 3 days to highlight the basic needs resources at UCLA and help students access them. We will be hosting webinars each day, with a variety of clubs and organizations on campus presenting their work and the services they're offering for Fall. Following the webinar, there will be independent activities hosted by the different organizations from 3-5pm, where students can interact with them and/or get a glimpse of how their services function on that same day💛🐻💙

Today is National Voter Registration Day and if you are eligible to vote, it's a great opportunity to make sure that your voter registration status is up-to-date so you are ready to vote in the upcoming November 2020 Election.



You can register for the first time or update your registration status right here.



As the largest and most diverse generation alive right now, young people have a chance to make a real impact if every eligible voter participates in elections. In order to make sure you can raise your voice and cast your vote in the upcoming local, state, and federal elections, you need to be registered to vote at your current address- where you want to receive your vote by mail ballot.



We know a lot of students recently moved, either back home for distance learning or near campus for the start of the school year. If you need to register for the first time or have moved since you last registered, you can update your registration right here.

1. If you have a CA State issued ID or Driver License: you are eligible to register completely online.

2. If you do NOT have a state issued ID or license: complete the online form, and then follow the steps to print out the registration and mail it in to your local clerk's office.

3. Once registered, or re-registered, you will receive a voter registration card in the mail confirming your registration status within weeks. You can also check your registration status and view your sample ballot here.

HEY GRAD BRUINS!!!

The QCB Collaboratory has opened its registration portal for the Fall 2020 Quarter. The QCB Collaboratory workshops are free of charge to UCLA faculty, staff, affiliates, and students. Furthermore, UCLA graduate students are eligible to receive course credit via the Applied Bioinfo Course. Due to the ongoing CoVID-19 Pandemic, all interactive workshops will be conducted via ZOOM.

The UCLA Financial Wellness Program in collaboration with the Graduate Student Resource Center and the UCLA Basic Needs Committee is in search of a Financial Wellness Graduate Consultant for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. We are looking for someone interested in financial well-being, student development, has counseling skills and someone who takes initiative in advocating for Graduate students. Pay is $17/hr for 10/hrs per week. Must be available for Fall financial literacy training as well as weekly Wednesday meetings from 3:30-5pm all year.
