Take a look back in time to the holidays at the Edison Building in 1957🕰

The Edison Building was known for its stunning 25-foot Christmas tree that graced its lobby every December. These photos act as a time capsule of the installation of the infamous tree back in the late 50s.

Photographs are all from the Southern California Edison Collection at the Huntington Library and shot by Joseph Falder and Doug White.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is of the utmost importance, which is why Rising enhanced its existing partnership with UL, the global safety science leader, at the onset of the pandemic. This partnership allows us to leverage UL's evaluation and certification program to analyze protocols put in place for building health and safety.

Our buildings participate in quarterly air testing to ensure we are providing our tenants with the highest air quality we can achieve by increasing outdoor air flow, using MERV-13 or higher filter grades and regularly changing filters. In addition, our buildings participate in annual and bi-annual legionella and water testing. This way, Rising is assured, as are our tenants, that we are committed to and bringing the highest possible water quality.

Designed in a stunning Art Deco style and completed in 1931, the The CalEdison DTLA was one of the first all-electrically heated and cooled buildings in the United States.
Revealing the concrete, waffle slab ceiling and original hand-painted column numbers exposed the building’s history, and creates texture and interest!
