Staging The One 🕊️
Set above the Pacific at 1 Strand Beach Drive, this $65M one-of-one Dana Point estate called for a different design approach — one shaped by its dramatic angles, expansive scale and extraordinary cliffside location.

The vision was to bring a sense of softness and warmth to the home’s bold modern architecture while responding to its open-plan layout and the way the entire residence opens to the ocean.

Vesta designer Sarah | Interior Design worked closely with listing agents Mitchel Bohi, Gastón Javurek | REALTOR | OC and Matt Altman from the outset, with the creative freedom to design an interior that felt completely connected to its setting.

The Pacific is visible almost uninterrupted across the main level, so Sarah built the interiors around the horizon. Low silhouettes preserve the sightlines, while curved forms, warm woods, tactile fabrics and layered neutral tones ground the scale and give the expansive spaces an intimate, lived-in feeling.

Where the architecture turns angular, the furniture follows. Sarah selected and configured pieces to flow with the contours of the home, right down to a modular sectional shaped around the unique geometry of the main living room.

Because a one-of-one home calls for one-of-one staging.

More than a home, the Crest of Belvedere is a work of art—and it’s now on the market for $50M.

Set high on Belvedere Island, this rare architectural landmark, designed by renowned architect William Wurster with landscape design by Thomas Church, called for an understated design approach.

Here, the landscape is never simply a backdrop. With the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Tamalpais unfolding in every direction, the setting becomes part of the way the home is experienced.

Vesta designer Florence Attinger and assistant designer Valerie Solarez layered mid-century furnishings, organic textures, abstract artwork and geometric forms throughout, allowing the home’s Modernist architecture and extraordinary surroundings to take center stage.

Reimagined on Riverside Drive

Vesta designer MW NYC Design transformed Residence 10DEE at 11 Riverside Drive’s Schwab House into a home that feels collected.

A neutral palette flows across the walls and built-in millwork, layered with sculptural forms, warm woods, brass, texture and art. Mirrors draw natural light deeper into the home, creating a sense of openness and flow from room to room.

From paint to the final piece of furniture, our New York team considered every layer of the home. For Project Manager Bonnie Bruckheimer, it’s a reminder of what staging can do — helping a buyer see the full potential of a space and move straight into it.

Some estates are renovated. This one was rethought. Kent Construction & Development took a 1971 Bradley Farms landmark in Potomac’s Golden Horseshoe and rebuilt it with care, keeping the Georgian Colonial character intact while bringing nearly every surface, system, and room into the present.

For this storied Alamo residence, Vesta NorCal creative director Taylor Sassa worked alongside Casey Howard Interior Design, taking cues from the home’s original character while introducing a decidedly more eclectic point of view.

Floral walls framed in saturated blue. Sculptural stone against warm wood. Peach, to***co and powder blue woven throughout. Contemporary forms alongside pieces that feel as though they’ve always belonged.
