Reimagined to perfection.
This Palm Desert estate has been transformed from a classic Italian Tuscan residence into a refined, Montecito-inspired retreat.
For Vesta designer Kailea Iskra, “the strongest interiors begin by listening to the architecture.” With the home already defined by remarkable proportions, authentic materials, and timeless Mediterranean influences, she explains, “my role was not to redefine that story, but to refine it.”
By layering sculptural silhouettes, natural textures, and understated materials, Kailea honored the home’s original architectural integrity while elevating its character. Guided by four core principles—restraint, proportion, materiality, and balance—every design decision reinforces the home’s existing beauty rather than competing with it.
Kailea describes the result as “an environment where architecture and interiors exist in harmony, creating an experience that is both sophisticated and welcoming.”
