President Biden’s recent approval of a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration unlocks federal resources to aid fire victims in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Eligible residents and business owners can apply for:

Low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses

Tax relief for fire victims

Taxpayers in Los Angeles County affected by the wildfires have until Oct. 15, 2025, to file their 2024 California tax returns and make tax payments.
