I've been getting inquiries regarding how the increase in mortgage rates might affect home prices. Fact is, it is too soon to know. Buyers who are closing escrow now likely had loan approval & a rate lock back in February/ March. If the new rates affect home prices, it will not show before July.
But with such limited supply & lots of demand, I do not expect a noticeable downturn in our area.
