First time playing credit card roulette and I “won” the worst possible prize… 😂

We were celebrating my friend’s wedding weekend and during the day, someone decided we should play credit card roulette.

I’d never played before.

Everyone throws their credit card in…

One card gets pulled…

And that lucky person gets the honor of paying the entire bill.

First time ever playing.

Guess whose card gets pulled?

Mine. 😂

BEGINNER’S LUCK BABY.

Everyone else is celebrating.

I’m sitting there trying to figure out how I just won a game where the prize is paying for everybody.

What a terrible game 😂

But honestly, this is the stuff I love about weekends like this.

Good friends.

A wedding to celebrate.

A lot of laughing.

And random moments that weren’t planned but somehow end up being the ones you remember.

I’ll probably forget what we ordered…

But I’m definitely not forgetting watching my credit card get pulled out of that pile. 😂

6:00am runs hit different when the sunrise looks like THIS…

I was running through Boekmann Park in Porter Ranch this morning and had to stop.

Like actually stop my run for a minute.

The sun was coming up behind the palm trees, the basketball courts were completely empty, and I remember thinking…

This is such a beautiful park.

Some clients become part of your story long before real estate ever enters the conversation…

I met Isabel when my daughter Viktoria was born.

She was our lactation nurse at the hospital, and from the beginning she was incredibly kind and helpful to my wife and me.

We hit it off immediately.

As we talked, we realized Isabel was the sister of my good friend Gustavo, who also happens to be my mechanic.

Small world.

We exchanged numbers, stayed connected, and over the years Isabel and her husband Ali have watched our family grow.

But here’s where it gets even crazier…

A couple years later, we were back at the SAME hospital having our third and youngest daughter, Elena.

Guess who our lactation nurse was?

Isabel. ❤️

What are the chances?

Somewhere along the way, our relationship went from meeting at the hospital…

to staying connected…

to Isabel and Ali trusting me to help them purchase their first investment property.

Then their second.

And a couple weeks ago, with the help of my colleague Michelle Park, we closed on their THIRD property together. ❤️
