Filming a scene set somewhere else has always meant a trade-off.

Go on location and the whole company travels, then fights the sun and the weather for matching light.

Shoot green screen and everyone stays put, but actors perform to a blank wall with no real light, and every frame gets composited by hand in post.

LED volume solved the light. The environment plays live behind the actors and casts real light on them. But talent and crew still pack up and travel to the stage.

Meridian 4D adds one more option. Radiant captures any real environment on Earth, with its real light, and brings it to the set you're already on. All photographed. Same light every take.

Nobody leaves set. The location comes to you.

Radiant Images + : A 4D Gaussian Splatting case study on Muse's "Nightshift Superstar." Music video.

For a hundred years, filmmakers have been locked to one place and one moment. Where the camera could stand. When the action happened.
On this video, both walls came down.

We didn't film Matthew Bellamy. We captured him. An array of cameras recorded his performance from every angle at once, then rebuilt it as light. Millions of points, moving through time.

Why it's different:
๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ฌ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง keys a background behind a flat performance. Still one camera, one angle.

๐•๐ข๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง adds real light with LED walls. But the camera stays fixed where it stands.

4๐ƒ ๐†๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐’๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  captures the whole performance as space and time. What comes back isn't footage. It's a living digital double, one you can light, move, and drop into any environment.

That freedom let director LADO KVATANIYA Kvataniya escape traditional geometry and turn Matt into the red figure that moves through the film's sci-fi world.

This is Meridian, our portable volumetric system. Built-in image-based lighting. It ships in travel cases, arrives anywhere, and sets up and shoots same day.

Youโ€™re not just watching the swing anymore. Youโ€™re controlling it.

4D Gaussian Splat turns a real PGA swing into a living moment you can explore from any angle, at any speed, at any point in time.

No AI fakery. No invented motion. Just authentic performance, captured with 56 iPhones on a T-Mobile 5G network and processed by Gracia.

Thank you to the PGA of America T-Mobile for having the courage to leap into the future of golf.

How do you tell a story in a blink of an eye?
You donโ€™t add more camerasโ€”you add another dimension.

Radiant Images did with our partners and T-Mobile For PGA of America

Using 4D Gaussian Splatting, we capture athletes as living, dynamic volumesโ€”not flat images. Instead of stitching together hundreds of camera views, Meridian reconstructs a coherent 4D scene (space + time), allowing you to move freely around the action, frame by frame, from any perspective.

Why it matters for human performance:

โ€ข See the full motion, not just fragments.

โ€ข Analyze biomechanics from any angle after the moment is gone.

โ€ข Capture events that happen in ~200 milliseconds with complete spatial context.

โ€ข Eliminate guesswork caused by camera limitations and perspective bias.

โ€ข Traditional systems freeze an angle. Meridian captures the whole moment, in motion.

Designed as a portable volumetric stage, Meridian doesnโ€™t wait for the world to come to itโ€”it goes out and captures the world, live and in motion.

This is the future of sports analysis and storytelling.

What is Gaussian Splatโ€”and why iPhone?

Gaussian splatting turns synchronized camera views into a 3D cloud you can move through, pause inside, and replay from any angle. Itโ€™s the engine behind true volumetric replays, digital doubles, and immersive XR moments.

The latest iPhones capture 4K ProRes RAW, open gate, and high frame rates, with deep depth of field and powerful onโ€‘device compute over Wiโ€‘Fi and 5G.

The Meridian 4D volume stage into an untethered, truly portable, realโ€‘time Gaussian Splat stage you can deploy almost anywhere.
