It is with sadness that we share the passing of Pete Ong, Vice President/Management Services at Partners Community Management, on Friday, July 31, 2026. A member of the CAI family for 28 years, Pete was dedicated to his career and was among the few who held the esteemed designation of PCAM.
Pete was a colleague and friend—and truly a stranger to none. He had a wonderful sense of humor that he generously used to make people smile, put everyone at ease, and remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. His wit and warm personality made him someone people enjoyed being around and looked forward to seeing at our events.
Andrea Nadal, CAI-GLAC, had this to say when she heard of Pete's passing, “All the memories I have of Pete flooded my mind when I heard this news. I can't imagine how noticeable his absence is to his Partners family. He was such a fun person to be around and to talk to! I always loved sitting with him at the PCAM luncheons when he was able to attend and I also always appreciated how well Partners took care of him and his well-being.”
For all of us who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside Pete during the 44 years he spent in the HOA industry, we honor his leadership, integrity, dedication, kindness, and willingness to help others. He was a trusted friend whose loyalty and compassion were deeply valued. His loss is deeply felt, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
All of us at CAI-GLAC and National honor Pete's life, his many contributions to our industry, and the legacy he leaves behind. Rest in peace, Pete.
