Our DTLA project in Westlake is looking great as we head towards TCO. While most people see the building advancing stage by stage, in the background, the team at Fassberg is spending a lot of time and energy optimizing various processes to mitigate current and potential issues as they arise. There's so much that goes into these projects that aren't driven by optics, but just an intensive boots on the ground effort on multiple fronts.

As we closed out the end of 2024, our sights remain focused on making sure every project is treated with the attention, diligence and quick problem solving that we believe is the key to success. 495 Hartford is no exception to that. We are excited to close this one out mid-2025 and watch it become one of the most successful communities DTLA has seen in years.

Washington Court Apartments (12525 W Washington Plc)
A 30-Unit Affordable & Supportive Housing complex designed and built with the intention of providing housing to those who need it most. Fassberg completed this project back in 1997 with Venice Community Housing Corporation and under the direction of Richard Barron (architect) and his team.

Venice Community Housing Corporation develops lasting, neighborhood-based solutions for low-income families and individuals that provide long-term housing stability and help make our communities stronger and more inclusive for everyone. Their projects are critical in keeping people off the streets and do a big part in their support of homelessness initiatives on the westside of LA.

Fassberg completed this incredible five-story building featuring 52 apartments above 5,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and parking for 76 vehicles is located in a subterranean garage. One notable element was an exterior of cement plaster, metal, and porcelain tile.

Completed in 2022, Gillis House is located across the street from the iconic Paramount Studio in Los Angeles and includes desirable features such as, Swimming Pool, Rooftop Deck with Firepit and BBQ Grills, Fitness Center, Community indoor-outdoor greenspaces on 2nd and 5th floors and views of the Hollywood Hills and Downtown LA
