🌿Shop Small on Larchmont with Me🌿 There’s nothing like strolling Larchmont Blvd and popping into the little shops that make this street so special. Today’s stop: Flicka — a Larchmont institution that’s been around forever for a reason. 💛

📚 The oldest independent bookstore in LA is still turning pages.

Tucked into the heart of Larchmont Village, Chevalier’s Books has been on Larchmont Boulevard since January 1940 — making it the oldest independent bookstore in Los Angeles.

Founded by native Angeleno Joe Chevalier, the store has welcomed some legendary visitors over the decades — from author Aldous Huxley and singer Nat King Cole to the reclusive Howard Hughes himself. In its early days, it operated as a lending library where customers could rent a book for just a few cents a day, and it quickly became the neighborhood meeting place — for gossip, friendly arguments, and talking about books.

Today it’s still a general trade bookstore with a staff of passionate readers, a rich and diverse selection, and a deep belief in the independent bookstore as a foundation of community.

Over 85 years later, it’s still here. Still recommending books. Still bringing people together.

Go support your local indie. 🤍

Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Los Feliz — and located within the highly coveted Ivanhoe Elementary School District — this architectural gem is everything LA living is meant to be.

Soaring ceilings. Walls of glass. Fleetwood doors that dissolve the line between indoors and out, opening to multiple balconies framing sweeping Silver Lake Hills and Griffith Park Observatory views. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated — Thermador appliances, catalogue-worthy finishes, a pre-wired smart home system, and a multi-level in-ceiling sound system that sets the tone the moment you arrive. Understated luxury at a price point that Los Feliz rarely offers.

Beyond the front door, one of LA’s most walkable and culturally rich neighborhoods awaits. Morning coffee at Blue Bottle, dinner at Little Dom’s or All Time, a browse through Hillhurst boutiques, the Atwater Village Farmers Market on Sunday, a hike through Griffith Park or an evening at the Greek Theater — all without getting in your car. This is the rare Los Angeles address where the city’s finest pleasures are genuinely within reach on foot.

A private retreat. An exceptional school district. A walkable, vibrant neighborhood. And a price that redefines value in Los Feliz.

GRWM: Speaking at the Compass Inventory Summit

Full service. Full fee. Full confidence.

There was a time I questioned whether I had to justify my commission…
Today it’s about how we demonstrate it.

Because being a full-service agent isn’t just about doing more—
it’s about maximizing value for our clients.

It’s anticipating what’s coming before it happens.
Guiding decisions before they become problems. Finding the solutions. Knowing where to invest, where to hold, and where to push.

In the strategy.
In the negotiation.
In how we position every detail.

From protecting the downside to creating leverage on the upside—
this is what full service actually looks like.

And how we communicate that… is everything.

200 agents in the room— Sold out Summit- grateful to be part of the conversation

Closing the year with deep gratitude for you.

2025 began with heartbreaking fires and unimaginable loss. I want to honor my friends and community here and all the aspects of life that it impacted—the change it forced, during a time so filled with memory—and send my deepest love to our friends, clients, and community.

It was also a year that revealed the quiet miracles of the human spirit. I will never forget the pride I felt in my community. I once thought, after Covid, that home could never matter more—but loss reveals the true character of humanity. Neighbors banded together for those with nothing. Strangers opened their homes at all hours. Back houses, couches, resource lists, phone calls answered, furniture found, clothes pulled from personal closets, time freely given. Los Angeles became a village, and it is one I will always be proud to call home.

Time is such a funny thing. Like raising a child, it brings soaring highs and humbling challenges. And if you let it, selling homes allows you to step into people’s lives in the most meaningful way. This year meant helping families build new lives outside of LA, finding “impossible” forever homes in Windsor Square, rebuilding after divorce, finding hope when selling was necessary, welcoming new babies, outgrowing beloved homes and bravely stepping into new ones filled with creativity and harmony. It meant selling gardens that felt like farms, guiding first-time buyers who feared they’d never find a home they loved—only to discover it just around the corner.

You welcomed me at kitchen tables filled with tears, through phone calls layered with fear, and trusted me when “the one” slipped away and I promised it would all make sense—and it did, in ways even better. You trusted me with your most cherished family homes, your greatest financial and emotional investments.

It takes a village, and I am endlessly proud of mine. To my team and vendors who show up tirelessly, my clients and community who believe in us, cheer us on, and recommend us—and my family, who is always my why. They say you are who you surround yourself with, and I am surrounded by the very best.
