To properly celebrate National Homemade Pie Day, I baked a key lime pie and an apple pie. 🍏🥧
Growing up in Florida, key lime pie was a dessert staple throughout my childhood. And although I haven’t lived in Florida for 18 years 😱, summer will always mean it’s time for a slice, or two, of key lime pie. Extra whip cream for me, please.
My Husband’s favorite pie is apple pie, a la mode, of course. And the smell of fresh baked apple pie throughout the house is one of my faves. Is there such a thing as too many apple pie scented candles?
