Bio - About Me (updated 07/02/24)

A knack for marketing, a devotion to serving others and an outstanding work ethic are the hallmarks of Darren Zuppardos’ real estate career. In 1993, Darren embarked on a journey into the real estate realm, immediately sensing a profound connection with this career path. “As a fledgling residential agent, my enthusiasm for assisting new clients knew no bounds—so

much so that many of these initial connections blossomed into enduring friendships.”

As early as his first days in the business and now, Darren, a Listings Specialist, applies groundbreaking techniques to real estate marketing and business development. “I’ve always been an early adopter. I pour myself into my career and do as much education and research as I can in order to stand out,” says Darren. “I’ve done things differently than other agents for a long time, marketing from the ground up and staying ahead of the curve.” As other agents grow frustrated with the surge of technology, I embrace it, educate myself regularly and implement what I learn. I run my business like a business, not a part-time hobby.”

His consultative approach to client relations proves that, if there’s something to learn, Darren will embrace it. After all, he says it’s more important now than ever for buyers and sellers to hire an experienced, trained real estate professional. In addition, Darren believes that serving the client is extremely important. “I have always believed in treating people the way I want to be treated. Communication and striving to give an overall better client experience are at the top of my list. I take my time to get to know my clients and what their needs are. It’s such a great feeling to see the look on a client's face when I have exceeded their expectations and helped them achieve their goals. I have helped many families with their real estate needs and there is no better feeling.”

Darren places such great importance on marketing that he has two full-time staff members dedicated to marketing, to include a digital marketer and a marketing specialist. He also hires specialists that help him optimize the various Social Media platforms to target market to the masses. “I market my homes as if every home is a multi-million dollar listing,” says Darren, noting that every house gets the full package, regardless of the price point. Before a home is listed, The Zuppardo Group pays for basic staging and provides a digital marketing platform that continues to be refined. “Our digital marketing gets the maximum exposure with SEO techniques and enhanced online placements. We’re also doing target marketing and text-message marketing. We create Specific Landing Pages to attract buyers in a unique manner.” From professional photography, videography and drone photography; the team then produces property-specific websites and four-page color brochures. All of this effort helps Darren achieve his primary goal – happy clients. “I love being able to educate clients and to help people,” he says. “It’s about the person, not the money. Around our office we say, ‘People before things,’ and we know that as long as we’re taking great care of people, the best will come. Darren’s vast experience enables him to be proactive, not reactive, during each transaction. “I’ve been in this business since 1993 and closed so many deals that I know what can go wrong!” Darren says with a self-deprecating laugh. Darren and his team create the best possible outcomes with the utmost professionalism. Clients notice, telling Darren that the experience of working with him is smoother and more enjoyable than they expected. As a result, clients spread the word about The Zuppardo Group as can be seen from the mass amount of reviews he has online.

“My clients are like family to me and many of them have become good friends. There is no substitute for a real connection. I truly love the relationships that I form along the way in my journey. I am very fortunate to be in a profession that I truly enjoy with a career that is rewarding in so many ways.”
