Maria Carter-Gargani - 1982 - Polaroid Today December 1st is Maria’s birthday. Back in 1979, Bruce Kalberg and I were soliciting ads for our No Magazine along the newly happening “Melrose Avenue, when we happened on to “Shop” a women’s boutique, featuring fashion from London. Upon entering we met the owners Maria and Charmian and for the first time I experienced, the most amazing, beautiful smile ever, Maria’s smile. Little did I know, I’d be experiencing that beautiful smile for over 40 years, in a perfect relationship, with my wife. Maria left us on 11/02/22. She fought a valiant battle for over 5 1/2 years, never complaining and always maintaining her amazing smile. I love you beautiful!! We will be together again!! Aum, Peace, Anen!!
