Windows do more than bring in light. They set the mood.
The way a room feels starts with its shapes: arches that soften, squares that steady, a quatrefoil that adds a little charm.
Good light tells the story, but great windows make you feel it.

House of Rolison has given a 1940s Nichols Canyon residence a new chapter, blending vintage charm with moody, modern flourishes. The four-bedroom home retains its classic bones—arched doorways, original windows, and a cozy fireplace—while adding drama through a reimagined kitchen with onyx cabinetry and a marble counter, and a primary bath crowned by a striking black arch over the soaking tub. Outside, a tiled terrace leads to a pool, fire pit, and full outdoor kitchen, all designed for California entertaining. It is a study in restraint and reinvention, proof that honoring history can still feel entirely fresh.
