There might be something wrong… but probably not. In today’s real estate market, the average home in Los Angeles takes 48 days to sell. So a home that’s been listed for a month isn’t automatically a red flag.

The bigger question is: where is it?

Days on market can vary dramatically by neighborhood.

A well-priced home in a competitive area might be pending in a couple of weeks, while a luxury home or one in a slower-moving neighborhood can take months. For example, homes in Highland Park are averaging around 44 days, while Downtown LA is closer to 121 days.

Context matters way more than the number you see on Zillow.

Moral of the post: don’t let a home’s β€œdays on market” be the reason you skip your future house. 🏑
