This article was sent to me from a seller who I'm working with.

I've worked with her previously on multiple transactions. She is taking on board the current climate and so when we discussed pricing, she was realistic about where we are in the real estate market.

Yesterday another active seller I'm working with REQUESTED A REDUCTION. This is not the market of 4 months ago. In my 9 years of real estate, I've never had to reduce a listing. I'm grateful for working with clients who are listening. My role as their real estate advisor is to communicate regularly. I never tell any client what to do. I provide information, we discuss and I advise. The decision is up to them.

Economists predicted that the United States would break free of its long-running housing slump in 2025. But the opposite happened.

Coming from a very social, lots of travel, international, film festival circuit life (that I loved and missed), I had no idea that I would have the opportunity to meet new people all over the world. We get to know each other through office visits, online zooms, Sothebys's networking events. When we meet like-minded agents whose standards align with ours, we can trust they will treat our clients with the same level of service. Thank you to all of those agents who have taken great care of my clients and have trusted me with theirs. There seriously is no place like the Sotheby's network. No place else I'd rather be.

Attended Concierge Auctions at Sotheby’s Auction House in London last night.

Landed Heathrow at 4 PM, got to my hotel at 5 PM, was in a cab at 6 PM and made it for drinks and then the live auction.

Happy I was able to experience the auction in person and to meet Carolyn Wright and Kyra Papoui of Concierge Auctions.

What an extraordinary option for agents at Sotheby’s International Realty we are able to offer our clients.

A number of US properties were auctioned with price points starting around $2 million USD
