Happy Fed Day! 🏦 Here's the latest from the Federal Reserve

🗝️ This was Powell's final meeting as Fed Chairman, however he decided to stay on as a Fed Governor

🗝️ The Fed voted to keep rates unchanged

🗝️ The probability for a rate cut in 2026 has now basically dropped to zero 😢

🗝️ The incoming Fed Chair (Warsh) will basically deal with many of the same issues. Rising inflation, instability in the Middle East, and keeping the unemployment rate low

🗝️ The outlook for economic activity has clearly improved since the last meeting 😊

🗝️ Unemployment has shown some signs of stabilization 😊

🗝️ Consumer spending remains strong 💪🏽

Here's the latest from the Federal Reserve

👉🏽 Quarter point cut to a new target rate of 3.5 to 3.75%

👉🏽 Weakening jobs creation numbers and a balancing of the labor supply

👉🏽 Stubborn inflation that has not reached the Fed's 2% goal (currently around 3%)

👉🏽 This cut seemed as it was an insurance policy against weakening jobs number in the future
