Just because a house is still standing doesn’t mean it escaped the fire. 🔥
We’re working on homes where the structure survived, but once remediation starts and we begin opening walls, ceilings, cabinets, and other areas, that’s when we can uncover damage that wasn’t visible from the surface.
Smoke and soot can travel behind drywall, into insulation, through wall cavities, attics, HVAC systems, and other hidden spaces. Sometimes everything looks okay from the outside, but once we open it up, it tells a completely different story.
That’s why proper fire remediation is so important. At HammerLogic, we’re not just rebuilding what you can see. We’re paying attention to what’s underneath, documenting what we find, and making sure hidden fire and smoke damage doesn’t get covered back up. 🔨🔥
Standing doesn’t always mean undamaged. The goal is to rebuild it right, not just make it look right.
