Breaking Records Serving Clients: I don't typically tout my accomplishments because I value the relationships I have with my clients more than the money I make. However, one of my dear clients was keen to point out that she was very happy with the amount of money I helped HER make on her sale, and her sale broke the record for her neighborhood... wait, what? woah.
When I accept a listing it's because I believe in the property, I want to help my client get the very best, and because I feel like my marketing methods will be successful for them. Her comment got me thinking, digging, and researching (as I often do because I'm a nerd), and I discovered something; I actually broke 4 records this year (with some very happy clients to show for it)! They were not all easy, but they were worth it.
My Promise to you:
When I take a listing, or sign a buyer, I become their champion. That is not done blindly- there are many conversations along the way, and many of my clients will recall their "Come to Johnson" moment, where they realized their expectations were not realistic, or they had to release a little control, or look at their "money issues", or simply take a leap of faith. I'm not afraid to have those conversations (I actually love them). As a result, my clients are well educated, empowered, and realistic. All that leads to less heartache and wasted time (aka SUCCESS). So, to everyone who made the leap with me last year, thank you all for your trust and support. Now go tell all your friends ;-) And to anyone (from the $675K first time buyer to the $3.5M seller), thinking of dipping a toe into these choppy waters, I'm here when you are ready.
Here's to more great things yet to come.
Record-Breaking Sales:
1032 W. Edgeware Rd: Sold for the highest price in the neighborhood EVER.
4601 Clarissa Ave: Sold for the highest price per square foot in the area since 2023
1645 Vine Penthouse 1010: Highest price per square foot this year and one of the only condos to actually sell (its a particularly difficult building to sell in because the HOA's are $2,300/mo).
1445 Calumet: Sold for the highest price per square foot of any income property in the area since 2020. Also a difficult sale because it was 7 units (commercial loan) and individual bungalows (7 roofs, 7 sewers... etc).
